Terms

These terms govern all projects and services provided by BRDG. By initiating a project or engaging our services, you agree to the following. BRDG reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Changes made after a project has begun will not apply to that project.

Project initiation

All projects require the following before work begins:

  1. Written approval. A signed or written approval of the proposed Project Outline.

  2. Payment. The first installment or full payment, as outlined in your Project Invoice (see Payment below).

  3. Card on file. A valid payment method on file, which will be used to process scheduled installments and any applicable fees.

  4. Content. All text, imagery, logins, and other materials required to begin the project, provided by the agreed-upon start date.

Payment

Projects under $1,000 are due in full at initiation. Projects over $1,000 are eligible for a payment plan, with details outlined in your Project Invoice. Completed work will not be handed over or pushed live until the final payment has been received.

Late payments

  1. Grace period. Payments not received within 10 business days of the due date will be considered late.

  2. Late fee. A flat fee of $50 will be added to the outstanding balance for every 7 days of delinquency.

  3. Work suspension. If payment remains outstanding after 20 days, all active work will be paused until the balance is resolved.

  4. Account closure. Balances unpaid after 30 days will result in account closure. The client forfeits all rights to completed work and no refunds will be issued. Accounts closed due to non-payment may be referred to a collections agency.

Timeliness & client responsibilities

Projects depend on timely communication and content delivery from clients. The following applies when a project is delayed due to the client:

  1. Content deadline. All content must be provided by the agreed-upon start date. If delays caused by the client affect a hard deadline, BRDG cannot be held responsible. The project timeline remains the same and the deadline shifts accordingly.

  2. Feedback window. If the client does not respond to delivered work within 10 business days, the work is considered approved by default. Change requests made after this window may incur additional charges.

  3. Extended inactivity. If 30 days pass without communication from the client after the project has begun, BRDG will consider the project complete and invoice for all work done to date.

Submitting Content

All content must be submitted electronically via email or shared cloud folder. Text must be provided as selectable text, not as images. Files must be clearly labeled with their intended placement. Fax and paper submissions are not accepted without prior approval.

Unless BRDG has been hired for content development, all text and images must be provided by the client. The client is responsible for ensuring they have ownership or written permission to use all submitted content. BRDG is not liable for intellectual property infringements arising from client-provided content.

Revisions

Other than small changes, revision requests are considered a separate service that will have their own Project Outline or will be billed at $2/min. To avoid unnecessary charges, all content, preferences, style direction, and functional requirements should be finalized before work begins. Changes in preference, scope, or direction after approval will require additional time to be purchased.

Copyright & ownership

  1. Client rights. Upon receipt of full payment, BRDG grants the client exclusive, perpetual, and worldwide rights to reproduce, display, distribute, and create derivative works from the completed project in all media.

  2. Preliminary work. All drafts, mockups, and in-progress work remain the property of BRDG. No rights to preliminary work are granted unless explicitly agreed upon in writing.

  3. Portfolio rights. BRDG retains the right to display completed work in its portfolio, website, and promotional materials. BRDG will be credited as the creator of the work in connection with such use.

  4. Domain names. When BRDG registers a domain on behalf of a client, it is registered in the client's name. Domain renewal is solely the client's responsibility. BRDG is not liable for expired or lapsed domain names.

Third-party vendors

BRDG is not liable for issues arising from third-party platforms, tools, or vendors — including those recommended or set up by BRDG as part of a project. Clients are advised to review all third-party policies before use. See our Disclaimer for more information.

Availability

The BRDG team is available Monday through Friday, 11am to 7pm Mountain Time. All calls must be scheduled in advance through our booking link. We are unavailable for unscheduled contact on weekends, though messages received will be responded to on the next business day. Weekend appointments may be booked in advance.

Cancellations & refunds

Cancellations, rescheduling, and refund terms are governed by our Cancellation Policy and Refund Policy. Please review both before engaging our services. In short: all payments are non-refundable once work has begun. If a client chooses to terminate a project mid-development, they remain responsible for the value of work completed to that point. Termination requests must be submitted in writing.

Refusal of service

BRDG reserves the right to decline or discontinue service with any client for any reason, including but not limited to projects that promote hate, discrimination, or exploitation, or situations involving disrespectful, abusive, or manipulative behavior toward any BRDG team member or partner. Non-refundable payments remain non-refundable in all cases.

Acknowledgement

By initiating a project or purchasing any service, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms, as well as our Cancellation Policy, Refund Policy, and Disclaimer.
